(MPG) Kip Moore marks his return with his brand new track "Levee," along with an official video, available everywhere through Virgin Music Group. An anthemic, guitar-slinging banger built for the fast lane, "Levee" was co-produced by Moore alongside Andrew DeRoberts (Stephen Wilson Jr., Tate McRae, Zac Brown Band) and features guest vocals by Hillary Lindsey. The official video was directed by PJ Brown and finds a wayward Moore traversing a barren, southwestern landscape.
"'Levee' is an expression of frustration with the loudness of the world," stated Moore. "Everybody being self-righteous, the constant bickering. We're simply in a graceless age. People are obsessed with their own voice and being the beacon of truth. We're all flawed humans from a million different backgrounds. I can feel the ground hemorrhaging. That opening verse came out of me in seconds as a scream."
"Levee" arrives as Moore also announces his Reason To Believe World Tour, where he'll headline stadiums and arenas across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Europe, US, and the UK. Most notably, he will play a series of shows at the SuperSport Park Stadium in Pretoria and at Cape Town's GrandWest Arena, notching his first trip back to the country since 2024. To date, he has played his largest shows in South Africa, with his 2023 arena show becoming the fastest sell-out in Cape Town history, eclipsing Sting, and performing for crowds of over 40,000 fans.
The new dates follow another co-headlining tour with Billy Currington that went on sale last month, as well as a select number of shows, where he will be supporting Cody Johnson in arenas across the country. Before his world tour, he will also head back across the pond for a performance at the Holland International Blues Festival in The Netherlands and at State Fayre in Chelmsford, UK.
Last year, Moore released his critically-acclaimed album Solitary Tracks via Virgin Music Group and its deluxe edition which included three new tracks. The standard LP debuted as the Top Selling Current Country Album and the Second Best Selling Independent Current Album according to Luminate. It also reached the Top 10 on Spotify Albums of the Week in the US, earning over 2.5 million streams in the first week, and racking up nearly 60 million streams across the full record to date. He played the record's title track on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and elsewhere, the album garnered acclaim from the likes of Esquire, Billboard, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Country Central and Whiskey Riff who named it one of the best albums of last year.
Moore spent much of the last few years on the road - from Europe and the UK to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa all the way back home to the States. His international success - including opening the door for country music in South Africa and paving the way for the debut of the Cape Town Country Music Festival - earned him the 2024 CMA International Artist Achievement Award. Now, he's making his return to those countries with new music and a new tour.
