(Columbia) 18-year-old breakout star Ty Myers has released his new album "Heavy On The Soul". the 17-song LP follows his rapturously received, GOLD-certified debut The Select.

Hailed as the "next face of country music" (Rolling Stone) and "a generational talent" (No Depression), Myers brought an even deeper and more deliberate vision to Heavy On The Soul, channeling the potent mix of Southern Rock, Soul, and Blues that formed his musical foundation as a child. To achieve that exquisitely crafted yet viscerally charged sound, he created the album at FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL - the historic spot where legends like Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett made classic records back in the '60s. Featuring 11 songs penned entirely on his own, the result is both a bold leap forward and a definitive testament to the Texas-bred musician's extraordinary artistry.

"Heavy On The Soul is a very special project to me for many reasons. Many artists feel a notable amount of pressure when working on their sophomore album," shares Myers. "The true magic of this project came when I shook those feelings and wrote for me and the feelings that I was experiencing in my life. I can only wish that you can relate to my emotion and apply it to yourselves. I hope y'all enjoy."

A formidable follow-up to The Select - a 2025 release featuring his PLATINUM-certified hits "Ends of the Earth" and "Thought It Was Love" and GOLD-certified "Drinkin' Alone" - Heavy On The Soul came to life in collaboration with producer Brandon Hood and a stunning lineup of elite session players, including guitarist Tom Bukovac (Glen Campbell, Vince Gill), steel guitarist Bruce Bouton (George Strait, Emmylou Harris), keyboardist Gordon Mote (Brad Paisley, Hank Williams, Jr.), drummer Chris McHugh (Trace Adkins, Alabama), and bassist Mark Hill (The Civil Wars, Brooks & Dunn). After composing most of the lyrics by himself, Myers joined Hood in the studio to shape each track alongside the top-tier band - typically locking into the feel within just a handful of takes and crystallizing the songs' singular identity.

Since giving fans an early glimpse at Heavy On The Soul with last summer's release of "Leaving Carolina" (a simmering collision of cinematic Country and gritty Southern Soul), Myers has steadily built an unstoppable momentum for the album for by sharing songs like "Through a Screen" (an all-too-real account of dating in the digital era), "Come On Over, Baby" (a Blues-leaning ode to late-night lust), "Two Trains (feat. Marcus King)" (a guitar-drenched take on the timeless Little Feat tune), "Message to You" (a haunting but fiercely hopeful love song), and "Morning Comes" (a bittersweet anthem for restless hearts everywhere). See below for the full tracklist to Heavy On The Soul.

Last Thursday night at L.A.'s Desert 5 Spot (a rooftop bar in the heart of Hollywood), Myers celebrated the release of Heavy On The Soul with a party presented by Stagecoach (the world's most popular Country music festival) and a room overflowing with fans, friends and family. Featuring an exclusive performance from Myers, the album release party offered a sneak peek at what's to come when he makes his eagerly awaited Stagecoach debut on the Palomino Stage April 26 in Indio, CA.
