NEEDTOBREATHE Albums Getting Special Vinyl Reissues
(MPG) Omnivore Recordings has announced three special vinyl reissues from Grammy-nominated southern rock band NEEDTOBREATHE, due out May 22. These include two previously long-out-of-print vinyl releases for their sophomore album The Heat (2-LP set) and their Forever On Your Side EP, plus their double live LP Live From The Woods Vol. 2.
NEEDTOBREATHE - The Heat: Long out-of-print double LP with laser-etched art on Side 4, contains the hits "Signature Of Divine (Yahweh)" and "Washed By The Water."
Since 1999, the Grammy-nominated southern rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in music, from releasing their debut album with Atlantic Records in 2006 to finding themselves playing arenas and receiving nominations for multiple Dove, Grammy, and Billboard Music Awards.
When their second album, The Heat, was released in 2007, it reached #164 on the
200, and was nominated for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards. The song "More Time" was featured in the film P.S. I Love You.

Widely acknowledged by music devotees and media tastemakers for their anthemic, alt-rock dynamic, NEEDTOBREATHE have earned those accolades through musicianship and innovation. Forever On Your Side (Niles City Sound Sessions) was recorded with the producer trio Niles City Sound out of their studio in Ft. Worth, TX. The 4-track collection of songs and collaboration represents a creative leap for the band, who usually self-record and produce out of their home studio, Plantation Studios, in Summerville, South Carolina.
Now this gem is back in print as a 12″ EP on white vinyl, and newly re-cut by Jeff Powell at Take Out Vinyl/Sam Phillips Recording Service, Memphis, TN.

NEEDTOBREATHE - Live From The Woods Vol. 2: Double live LP from NEEDTOBREATHE pressed on Amber Wave vinyl, featuring songs from throughout the band's career.
Live From The Woods Vol. 2 was recorded during three sold-out, socially-distanced outdoor concerts at Pelham, Tennessee's famed The Caverns on March 12, 13 and 14, 2021, and is a stellar, high-energy, and cathartic 15-track album. Once again available on vinyl, this release has been freshly cut by Jeff Powell at Take Out Vinyl/Sam Phillips Recording Service, Memphis and has been pressed on Amber Wave vinyl.
