(Turnberry Records) Grammy-nominated bluegrass trailblazers The Po' Ramblin' Boys officially release Welcome to the Club, their eagerly anticipated new album and first release with Turnberry Records.
The twelve-song collection captures a band confidently embracing its next chapter-honoring the traditions that made them one of bluegrass music's most celebrated modern acts while expanding into honky-tonk, country soul, and richly personal songwriting.
Welcome to the Club represents a turning point for the East Tennessee quintet. It is the first album featuring new members John Gooding and Max Silverstein, whose musicianship brings fresh energy and texture to a band already renowned for its dynamic live performances and uncompromising musicianship.
Across twelve songs, The Po' Ramblin' Boys move between hard-driving bluegrass, classic country, heartbreaking ballads, and barroom shuffles without ever losing sight of the authenticity that has defined them since their formation in the Smoky Mountains.
From the aching loneliness of "I'm Alone But I'm Not Lonesome" to the romance of
"Coachella Moon," the hard-earned wisdom of "Bottom of a Glass," and the title track's celebration of community and belonging, Welcome to the Club showcases a band comfortable honoring its roots while allowing those roots to grow in unexpected directions.
"Every record captures where a band is at a particular moment in time, and this one feels like the truest picture of who we are today," says bandleader CJ Lewandowski. "We weren't interested in making the same record we've already made. We followed the songs wherever they wanted to go, and they led us toward bluegrass, honky-tonk, country music, and some of the best songs we've ever had the chance to record. This album also marks the beginning of a new chapter with John and Max joining Jereme, Jasper, and me. We're excited to welcome everyone into our community. Welcome to the Club."
Produced with the chemistry and spontaneity that have become hallmarks of the band's recordings, the album balances original material with carefully selected songs from close friends and longtime musical influences. Throughout the record, themes of love, loneliness, redemption, resilience, and finding your place in the world unfold with honesty, all delivered through the band's signature blend of virtuoso musicianship and emotional storytelling.
Already earning praise from fans for singles including "Pardon Me," "Bottom of a Glass," and the widely discussed "Coachella Moon, "Welcome to the Club finds The Po' Ramblin' Boys broadening their musical palette without sacrificing the traditional spirit that first brought them international acclaim.
Since receiving a Grammy nomination for Toil, Tears & Trouble, The Po' Ramblin' Boys have become one of bluegrass music's most exciting ambassadors, touring extensively throughout North America and Europe while earning multiple honors from the International Bluegrass Music Association. Their performances have built a reputation for combining technical excellence with the infectious joy of musicians simply having fun together-a quality that resonates throughout Welcome to the Club.
Rather than looking backward, the album looks forward, reaffirming that bluegrass music remains a living, evolving art form capable of telling today's stories while remaining deeply connected to its history.
With Welcome to the Club, The Po' Ramblin' Boys continue proving why they remain one of the genre's most adventurous and respected voices.
The band will spend the remainder of 2026 touring throughout the United States in support of the new album, bringing Welcome to the Club to audiences nationwide. Stream the album here
