Sam Smith Does Surprise Duet With Sienna Spiro

Sam's rare, up-close performances officially ring in the venue's eagerly awaited re-opening following two years of renovations.
Along with Sam's biggest hits and previews of songs yet to be released, fans were treated to a stunning duet version of SIENNA's breakout hit "Die On This Hill." The performance served as a full circle moment for the duo as SIENNA recently opened for Sam's "To Be Free: New York City" residency for six-nights in late 2025 where they performed an unforgettable duet of Sam's "Lay Me Down." With her increasingly renowned mix of staggering vocals, emotional storytelling, and immense poise, it's almost impossible to believe that Sienna Spiro is just 20 years old. And yet, she's found a global audience by not only releasing cinematic, soulful, and timeless yet subtly modern songs, but also - especially - by performing them live to jaw-dropping effect. Earlier this week Sienna kicked off "The Visitor Tour" at the Troubadour in Hollywood to rave reviews. "The Visitor Tour" is SIENNA's first-ever North American headlining run and sold out within seconds, with additional dates added due to demand. Sienna will return for another night at the Troubadour this Friday before making her way across the US and concluding her stateside run with back-to-back nights at New York's Bowery Ballroom (March 17 and 18). SIENNA will release her new single "The Visitor" on March 13th via Capitol Records.
Sam's "To Be Free: San Francisco" residency is a continuation of their "To Be Free: New York City," series which began in October at Brooklyn's historic Warsaw club and extended through December due to overwhelming demand. The residency, which gives fans the chance to see Sam perform in an up close and intimate setting, follows their single, "To Be Free." Praised by The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan and more, the track explores how vulnerability can unlock bravery and freedom and includes vocals by The TwoCity Chorus.
