(MUSES) Having recently announced his forthcoming new sophomore LP, SELLOUT, due in early 2027, rising alt-rock singer-songwriter bodie today unveils "IDOLS," the latest soul-baring track from his upcoming album.

On the rap-anchored, unrelentingly emotional disavowing of false inspiration, bodie impassionately, sings, "I'm throwing out all of my idols/No one else could ever have Your title/To the world I'm probably a psycho/But I'm not letting any more time go/ That's all I know."

bodie, who is nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards to be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, has been nothing if not prolific in recent times: he's released a slew of new music this year - from his forthcoming LP's melodic pop banger of a title track to the acoustic-anchored single "GO FOR BROKE," which recently landed at radio, to "ALMOST FAMOUS."

Recently touted by Forbes as having "a punchy, genre-bending sound" - bodie, whose single "GO FOR BROKE" is now at radio, has just began the first leg of his Coast To Coast Tour, with additional dates to be announced, while also joining CAIN for a series of fall dates and a run of festival performances.

Following the release of his breakthrough debut album "NO SKIPS," in 2025 via Provident Entertainment/Sony, bodie has toured alongside Colton Dixon, Elevation Rhythm, Seph Schlueter, while amassing more than 71 million streams to date.

bodie continues to establish himself as one of music's most exciting young talents. NO SKIPS marked the culmination of a slew of new bodie music, including the debut album's feel-good title track, "GOOD OLD DAYS", and "SAY SO" in addition to its accompanying music video, inspired by MTV's legendary Jackass-era antics. bodie's radio single, "whisper and the wind," from the HAPPY TO BE HERE EP (Provident Entertainment/SONY) ascended to the Top 10 on both the Billboard Airplay and the Mediabase Audience charts.

bodie was nominated for three Dove Awards, including New Artist of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year and Short Form Music Video of the Year (Concept) for "RIP." Additionally, he received a K-Love Fan Awards nomination for his 'breakout single' for "whisper and the wind" and earned recognition from the We Love Christian Music Awards, winning Dance/Remix Song of the Year for his track "whisper and the wind - remix.

Further cementing his reputation as a songwriter, bodie won the Grand Prize in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC) alongside collaborators Sajan Nauriyal and Wes Strunk for the co-written "whisper and the wind."

Judges included Paul Stanley (KISS), Joe Hahn (Linkin Park), Elle King, Tom Waits, Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Nancy Wilson (Heart), NEEDTOBREATHE, and more. The winning composition captivated ISC's esteemed panel of judges with its compelling lyricism and emotional resonance - rising above the 14,000 submissions from 112 countries. The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is widely recognized as the world's most prestigious songwriting competition.
