(BTPR) The Neighbourhood kicked off their global THE WOURLD TOUR with a sold-out performance at Austin's Moody Center this past Saturday (March 28th), launching their most expansive run of tour dates. The excitement of the audience was palpable as the band made their triumphant return to the stage after a five-year hiatus.
From the opening note, the energetic band, led by the dynamic frontman Jesse Rutherford, had fans singing along to every word. Performing a mix of older fan favorites and tracks from their latest album, the set seamlessly bridged past and present, reminding fans why the band's sound continues to resonate with a wide audience.
The kickoff follows overwhelming global demand, with nearly every show from the initial on-sale selling out within minutes and more than twenty additional dates added across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The opening run continues with a string of sold-out arena performances across Fort Worth, Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston, Washington, DC, and New York, including a sold-out night at Madison Square Garden.
