(Looters) Canadian progressive metal pioneers Protest the Hero have announced two performances in Japan at Realise It Yourself Fest on November 7 and 8, 2026. The line-up includes SikTh, Kaonashi, Cyclamen, and moreru. The upcoming appearances will mark another opportunity for Japanese fans to experience the band's acclaimed blend of progressive metal, technical musicianship, and explosive live energy as they continue their international touring in support of their latest album, Within.
Singer Rody Walker comments: "Japan has always been a special place for us. The first time we were there was 2006. We immediately fell I love with it. The last time we were supposed to go we had to cancel and it was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. We are absolutely delighted to return; we can't wait to see old friends and make new ones."
