(The Oriel Company) Cody Jinks releases a new song, "Moving Mountains" with rock legend Alice Cooper via his label, Late August Records. Written by Jinks, Cooper, and Bob Ezrin, "Moving Mountains" was inspired by the idea of faith, perseverance, and the ability to overcome life's greatest challenges.

After hearing a rough demo, Cooper agreed to lend his voice to the track, bringing a powerful new dimension to Jinks' deeply personal songwriting. "Moving Mountains" will also be serviced to Christian Contemporary Radio and Rock Radio.

Of the duet, Jinks shares, "Who would have thought "Moving Mountains" would turn into what it did? A simple concept for a song that turned into one of the coolest collaborations I'll ever be a part of."

"Cody is an interesting guy, I really like him. He is a bit of an outlaw and outsider in my mind, but he's first and foremost a really good songwriter. I kind of gravitated towards the idea of working together because we had these things in common," said Cooper "My character is also kind of an outlaw and definitely an outsider, but the music has always come first. We always make sure the songs are great. I've always thought it would be interesting to work with a country rock songwriter and Cody really fits in with that idea of quality accessible songwriting that still has a bit of an edge."

Written without a specific genre in mind, "Moving Mountains" lives somewhere between country, faith, and rock and explores the idea of spiritual readiness through the metaphor of packing for a long tour you're not coming back from anytime soon. Inspired by the belief that faith can move mountains, the song reflects on the journey of life, the choices we make along the way, and what it means to be prepared for whatever comes next.

2026 has been a standout year for Jinks, who continues to build on his reputation as one of country music's most independent and uncompromising artists. Last year, Jinks released In My Blood followed by the deluxe version, an expanded edition of his 11th studio album featuring three new songs, including "Good Man," "Know It All," and "Jesus and the Devil," alongside an acoustic rendition of fan favorite "Lonely Man." He is currently on the road as a special guest on Five Finger Death Punch's 20th Anniversary World Tour, bringing his signature country sound to major venues across the country. Jinks will continue his run with upcoming tour dates through October 23. For tickets and more information, please visit codyjinks.com.
