(VMC) Foreigner, returns to Mexico, following the extraordinary response from more than 30,000 fans at the band's performance at the Feria Nacional de San Marcos this past May.
The overwhelming success of that performance left Mexican fans asking for more, and Foreigner responded with upcoming shows scheduled for Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, Queretaro and Mexico City as part of the worldwide celebration of its 50-year Anniversary.
Founded in New York in 1976 by legendary guitarist and songwriter Mick Jones, FOREIGNER quickly became one of the most successful bands in rock history. Its extraordinary catalog includes classics such as "Feels Like The First Time," "Cold As Ice," "Double Vision," "Urgent," "Juke Box Hero," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Head Games" and "I Want To Know What Love Is." The latter became the band's biggest hit, reaching No. 1 on the charts.
Foreigner is Luis Carlos Maldonado on vocals, Jeff Pilson on bass, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, Bruce Watson and John Roth on guitars, and Chris Frazier on drums.
Foreigner's connection with its Latin American fans has continued to grow in recent years. In 2025, the band toured Mexico and South America. Further strengthening that connection with Mexican audiences, Luis Carlos Maldonado recorded "Quiero Saber Si Es Amor," the Spanish-language version of one of Foreigner's biggest hits, alongside Mexican superstar Joy Huerta. The track has reached 6 million views on YouTube.
"We are thrilled to return to Mexico and have the privilege of performing at some of the country's most iconic venues as part of our Mexico tour," said Luis Carlos Maldonado.
